The event took place on 8-9 June 2023 in Basel, Switzerland.

The European Implementation Event 2023, (https://implementation.eu/european-implementation-event-2023/) coordinated by the European Implementation Collaborative (EIC), aims to create a European community of practitioners, researchers and policymakers with knowledge and experience in implementation to improve the quality of life for all people. The EIC aims to be a network that gathers information and knowledge on implementation science and practice in Europe; to connect individuals, groups, networks and organizations, bridging the gap between implementation science and practice; and to actively promote equity in implementation science and practice.

The European Implementation event has brought together researchers, health professionals, and managers from different European organizations and entities working to innovate in the field of implementation. This 2023, the theme of the event was “Creating a new normal: Increasing the relevance of implementation science for society”.

During the event, the JADECARE Joint Action, in particular the implementation strategy developed within the project, was presented in an oral communication. The project manager of Biosistemak (formerly Kronikgune), Yhasmine Hamu, was in charge of sharing the strategy defined and used for the transfer of four Best Practices to 21 European contexts. The three-phase strategy (structured in pre-implementation, implementation and post-implementation) has allowed the development of different action plans and interventions to adapt and transfer these Best Practices.  The project is in the final phase and in the coming months different tasks will be carried out to evaluate the implementation strategy in terms of its impact and usefulness to be used in other projects.
