Barcelona will host the forthcoming edition of ICIC, the slogan for which is “A Movement for Change: Enabling People-Centred and Integrated Health and Social Care”.
This conference, which is co-organised by the PIAISS of the Catalan Regional Government, the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (HCB), the ITESSS Forum and the Fundación TicSalut, will be held between 23 and 25 May 2016 and Kronikgune aims to attend to present the European projects in which it is working.
The main topics covered during this three-day conference include integration across the care continuum by improving population health; tackling the challenge of mental health; advancing people-centred and integrated care; enabling integrated health and care: removing barriers, encouraging adoption; and the strategic use of mobile and digital health and care solutions.
The period for submission of abstracts related to these topics is open until 30 October. Abstracts related to best practices, projects, policy development, research project projects, concepts and theory, lost and found ideas, and thematic, network and workshop discussions can also be submitted.
The conference organisers are particularly interested in receiving and finding space at the conference for organisations, associations, etc. working in the fields of social care and public health.
All abstracts accepted will be published in the International Journal of Integrated Care and will appear in the programme as a formal oral presentation, a workshop or a poster, which will be exhibited in the exhibitions area, as considered most appropriate by the scientific committee.
