The event, organised by EHTEL, was held in Lisbon, Portugal on 9 and 10 March 2023.

The Digital Transformation strategy of the European Union has, among others, a main priority: the creation of common data platforms based on a unified architecture and an established standard. In this framework, the EU-funded OPEN DEI project aims to identify gaps, foster synergies, support regional and national cooperation, and improve communication between Innovation Actions implementing the EU Digital Transformation strategy.

Within the OPEN DEI Innovation Action, ending in 2022, a Health & Care Cluster was created to “support” Large-Scale Pilots (LSP) and projects on platform development in the health domain funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Digitization of European Industries.

The Cluster held a meeting in Lisbon to which coordinators and partners of other large-scale European projects focusing on developing innovative solutions in healthcare were invited. The aim of the meeting was to work and define the programme and working method that the cluster will follow in 2023 and the sustainability of the cluster and its development from 2024 onwards.

Biosistemak (formerly Kronikgune) attended the meeting as the coordinator and on behalf of the ADLIFE project consortium. It should be noted that ADLIFE is one of the projects participating in the cluster, which has also played an essential role in the Working Groups, being leaders of WG5 on GDPR.
