The 9th edition will be held from 12 to 16 September 2022 in Donostia – San Sebastian. 

The International Digital Health Congress, organized by the Digital Health Association and the Signo Foundation, has been held continuously since 2014. This edition will focus on Value-Based Digital Health. Digital Health is a tool and/or digital medium that facilitates the generation of value in health, and which has a direct impact on society and the health of the population. Digital tools that contributes as well to improving the patient experience, and the satisfaction of professionals, and optimize the efficiency of the health system.

Starting on 12 September and for five days, healthcare professionals, managers, researchers, and professionals will share their knowledge and experience in round tables and workshops trying to define better people-centered health care. The Congress also seeks to create new synergies and establish collaborations to design and implement new innovative projects aimed at improving the quality of care, the patient experience and the sustainability of the healthcare systems.

Kronikgune will moderate the round table “Digital Health in Europe” which will be held on 15 September 2022 at the Miramar Palace in Donostia-San Sebastian. Within this round table, he will present the European project ADLIFE, his proposal for integrated and coordinated intelligent care for complex chronic patients, by means of oral communication.  The session will detail how ADLIFE, supported by digital tools, seeks to give the patient and caregiver a more active and independent role. To this end, digital tools are being developed that will help health professionals to establish personalized care plans, through modules for clinical decision-making support, and sharing decisions with patients. The European project aims to respond to the needs of these patients, improving their quality of life, facilitating the personalization of their care, and the early prevention of deterioration.
