The event was held on November 30th, 2023 at the Square Meeting Center in Brussels (Belgium).

The annual conference of the European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS), organized by ProMIS, leader of the communication, dissemination and exploitation activities, aimed to discuss the transformation of health and care systems among European health system stakeholders and project partners. It involved stakeholders, professionals and political representatives (at European, national and local/regional levels) working to develop innovative solutions and services that enable the sustainability, resilience and exclusivity of systems.

Of particular note was the participation of representatives of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies as moderators of the round tables organized during the day. The day was made up of three thematic tables. They discussed and shared different points of view on effective tools and solutions to inform the decision-making process; key aspects for the success and real implementation of the transformation of systems; and finally progress in the development of the THCS strategy for the incorporation of innovation in health ecosystems.

The Biosistemak Institute, the partner responsible for defining the methodological and evaluation framework, was present at the conference representing the Basque Country. The next THCS meeting will take place in February 2024 and will aim to present the results obtained in 2023, as well as the projects funded within the framework of the Joint Transnational Calls.
