The Health Services in Chronic Disease Research Network (REDISSEC) along with Alcalá University has organised the second edition of the “Expert in Health Services and Chronic Disease Research” course.
In order to provide solid and appropriate evidence regarding best policies, practices and organisational models, with a view to improving the results of health care for chronic patients, it is necessary to develop excellence in the fields of research and innovation.
This course is aimed at all researchers, members of healthcare technology assessment agencies and people working in the pharmaceutical industry wishing to learn more and hone their skills in the field of research into health services and chronicity. The course aims to help participants obtain essential knowledge, capabilities and skills for the development of research activity in this field. The following areas will be covered:
- Health services research
- Chronic diseases
- Epidemiology and biostatistics
- Health services research methods
The course will begin on 2nd October and will have a semi- face-to-face format with online classes and one face-to-face seminar. The course will end on 29th June 2018 with the handing in of the final project.
The registration period will be open until 1st September 2017.
