The manifesto aims to maximize the accessibility of research results in the fight against COVID-19.

Kronikgune Institute for Health Services Research has signed up to the manifesto for research into COVID-19 promoted by the European Union. The text is aimed at entities receiving European funds that wish to join voluntarily. The European Union stresses the urgent need to value the results of research for the benefit of all, therefore the manifesto seeks to maximize the accessibility of research results related to the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus and make them available to the scientific community.

Kronikgune Institute is aware of the importance of research and innovation projects to prevent, diagnose, treat and contain the COVID-19 pandemic, and by joining this manifesto is committed to:

– Make the results generated by the projects, tangible or intangible, public and accessible as quickly as possible.

– Make scientific articles and research data available in open access, public repositories and on the COVID-19 European Data Platform without delay, so that other researchers can use and validate them.

– Wherever possible, grant, for a limited time, non-exclusive royalty-free licences on EU-funded research results.

The COVID-19 Research Manifesto promoted by the European Union is also open to individuals.
