The event was held from November 30 to December 1 in Gant, Belgium.

The 2023 iHD Conference has had as its main focus the secondary use of data, exactly on the reuse of health data by stakeholders for different studies and developments. During two days, important health data challenges that need to be solved to reliably use and reuse high-quality data for the sole purpose of continuously improving people’s care and accelerating research have been shared and discussed.

ADLIFE’s research team has participated in the session dedicated to the patient’s vision, entitled “Patients in the Driving Seat”, which was organized by the Digital Health Uptake program. A session that aimed to answer the following questions: What does digital health bring today to patients in terms of innovation and value, what are the game-changing elements that introduce change in the relationship between the patient and healthcare professionals?

During the same, successful practices and research projects were shared that seek to advance the inclusion of patients in the management of their health and disease to make informed decisions about their health and healthcare and provide key aspects that allow health ecosystems to incorporate innovative technologies and tools that enable the transformation of health systems. The session also served to discuss key points and enabling conditions that advocate bringing value and benefits to patients, citizens and society.
