The congress will be held from 15-17 June 2022 in a face-to-face format for the first time in Brussels, Belgium.

The international and benchmark conference on health management celebrates its 40th anniversary, with the main theme “From people to systems: leadership for a sustainable future“. In collaboration with the Leuven Institute for Health Policy, the European Health Management Association (EHMA) will explore the challenges and solutions for creating sustainable health systems and the ways in which health managers can lead them over three days.

The EHMA 2022 Annual Conference is an opportunity to bring together managers, researchers, and health professionals, as well as decision-makers from health systems at the European level, to share experiences, projects and best practices implemented in recent years. The conference is structured around four central themes: Governance and Leadership; Management, Operations, and Practice; Finance and Economics; and Policy and Regulation. Knowledge and experiences will also be shared around other themes such as people-centred systems; managing digital transformation; the workforce of the future; shaping sustainable systems; and improving access, delivery, and outcomes in healthcare.

Kronikgune is one of the sponsors of the conference. In addition, it will organize a thematic workshop on the Joint Action coordinated at the European level by JADECARE and will give an oral presentation on the Gatekeeper project.
