The Kronikgune Institute, dedicated to research into the organization and management of health and social-health systems, is interested in incorporating into its team a person with a clinical epidemiology profile who can apply for the Ikerbasque grant program for post-doctoral researchers (https://www.ikerbasque.net/en/calls/research-fellows-2023), which aims to finance a contract of up to five years with the possibility of developing a long-term career.

Call for Research Fellows 2023 – Ikerbasque:
Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science, has launched 2023 a new call offering 20 places for postdoctoral researchers. These positions are funded by the Basque Government, the European Commission, and the host institution where the researcher will carry out his/her research: the letter of acceptance from the host institution is therefore mandatory.
These five-year fellowships are aimed at promising young researchers; their objective is to provide a pathway to a PI role and to independent research. The selected fellows must be able to acquire the skills necessary for a leading research role. Ikerbasque is committed to offering a long-term career to the research community: Fellows in their 5th year can be evaluated for a permanent position.
