Biosistemak joins the coordination of the Evaluation of Health Policies and Servicesgroup – EvaluaES

Borja García Lorenzo, Health Economist at Biosistemak, will be part of the coordinating team focused on the evaluation of health systems.

The Health Economics Association (AES) has appointed Borja García Lorenzo, Health Economist and Principal Investigator of Biosistemak’s Value-Based Medicine Research Group, as a member of the new coordination of the EvaluaES group. This change in the coordination of the interest group reflects the commitment of AES to promote and value the evaluation of public health policies and to strengthen research in this field.

EvaluaES is an AES interest group that focuses on the rigorous evaluation of public health policies, facilitating the use of evidence-based methodologies to ensure efficient resource management in the health sector. With the inclusion of Borja in the coordinating team, the aim is to strengthen the study and exploration of the quality and effectiveness of health systems from a Health Economics perspective.

This appointment underlines the importance of collaboration between research teams and health professionals to address current challenges in health systems and strengthen the work of EvaluAES in its mission to improve public health and the care offered to the population.
